Amongst the red banners, ancient medicines, and Buddhist temples of New York’s Chinatown, there exists a culture of the mass-product. But look past the fake purses and boxes of glittery shoes, and peer into a window filled with the beauty and ethnicity that can exist within the chaos. Each photo captures the clutter with an organization of colors, lines, and shapes. I choose to focus on Chinatown because of my interest to learn more about other cultures, especially Asian. It is a crash of the western world with 2000 year old rhythms that has taken over a part of the New York Skyline.
